About 8 years ago I woke up and realized I had let my weight get way out of control. I was upwards of 230 pounds and at only 5’6″ tall, I looked horrible.

I worked my butt off and lost about 65 pounds and kept it off for about 6 years. Then I slowly started letting it creep up, thinking I would be able to lose it easily again. I finally had to do something when I got close to that 200 pound mark.

So, on January 1, 2009 I joined Weight Watchers Online to help with my eating habits and I started walking nearly every day. I set a goal of getting back in shape and walking a half marathon in September. The goal I had set was 3 hours and 30 minutes. I finished in 2 hours, 52 minutes, and 59 seconds.

I am now pursuing another fitness goal — finishing the 60 day Insanity Workout routine.

Oh, and I can report that my weight is now constantly between 145 and 150, which for the first time in my life puts me in the healthy range for my height.
