Recovery Day

Today was Cardio Recovery. Not much to say about it other than I can’t even tell I worked out. I will go for a walk this afternoon, as I think the pint of ice cream from last night needs to be worked off.

Week 4, Day 3 – Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Today was my least favorite of the days — Plyometrics. I think I did MUCH better on the arm sections today though. I did not feel like I had to drop to the floor quite as often.
I did have a very hard time getting out of bed this morning, I suspect from the early morning the day before.
Tomorrow is recovery day, followed by 2 more days of workouts and then week 4, and the first half of Insanity, is complete.

Gym Work

Went to the gym since I had the day off from work. More or less the same workout routine as last time — 18 mins on elliptical, 20 on treadmill, and some arm weight work.
Have to say I am loving Planet Fitness.

Week 4, Day 2, Done

Today was Cardio Power and Resistance. So much easier than it used to be. Only 4 more days left until the recovery week. Not much to add for today.

Week 4 Begins With 500+ Calories Burned

Today marked the beginning of week 4. It started with the longest and hardest of the workouts — Pure Cardio + Cardio Abs.
I made it through Pure Cardio with only having to stop for a break once, which is better than any other time.
Cardio Abs was still fairly tough for me, but I worked my way through it.
Five more workouts and I will be 1/2 way through Insanity.

First Day at the Gym

Went to Planet Fitness for the first time today. Nice place and will be worth the $12.50/month membership fees. Did the elliptical machine for 15 minutes, treadmill for 20 minutes, and some arm weights for 10-15 minutes.

Insane 3rd Week Complete

Finished up week 3 with the Cardio Power and Resistance workout. I find it to be the easiest of the 3 rotating workouts. I think because there are so few arm exercises. Even though it seems the easiest, it was still 385 calories
I am anxious to get through next week and then the recovery week to see what the last 4 weeks has in store. Should be intense and insane.
